Sometimes in life you try something if you are adventurous enough and what you learn is that once is enough. For me, TV is that because TV is hard. Cameras, lights and let’s roll is not that smooth, especially when cows are mooing and my stomach is growling and people are starring. The host of B Organic, Michele Beschen and her fantastic crew of wonderful people make it look easy but for a family that lives a simple life way out in the sticks in S.E. Kansas we were out of our element. Michele is one of the most beautiful woman- inside and out we’ve ever met. She’s a Mississippi girl with mud permanently stuck between her toes and what lucky mud that is. Smart, fun and as authentic as a downpour in July.

Are we all glad we did this TV thing? Absolutely. Meeting a celebrity with substance and passion for teaching and motivating people to get out and do interesting things like organic gardening is worth a week in the desert for all of us in the Lipscomb clan. Her team was the most talented and organized people I have seen in a very long time. They all knew their roles and fit together like a puzzle. I’d rather they left Michele’s husband- John behind. He would make the best neighbor.
